Block Stripe Washi Tape

From before the Medieval marble of Siena Duomo cathedral to the whimsical designs of Ettore Sottsass’ Memphis Milano, Deborah Sussman and more contemporary Camille Walala the profound influence of stripes is emotional even! They’re striking and I’ve been obsessed with using them to accent things for years thanks to these influences.

Through the shop I’ve come to love Washi tape in DIY decor! I haven’t been able to find solid block stripe tape anywhere and have been cutting up checkered contact paper for too long!! SO I MADE SOME!

Washi tape has so many uses. I think framing photos and lining small display edges in the store is my favorite!! Washi tape is also wonderfully non-destructive for the most part on surfaces. Peel it off very easily without tearing paper!
